What is Ahsk?
ahsk lets you record speech by holding down a shortcut key; when you release it, the cloud-based Whisper large-v3 model transcribes the audio, adds punctuation and paragraph breaks, and removes filler words, then writes the text at the cursor position according to your selected style. It offers a personal dictionary and cross-language dictation output, making it ideal for composing emails, customer communications, or entering text in development tools.
The meeting feature records the microphone and computer audio as two separate audio tracks, then organizes summaries, decisions, and action items—no meeting bot required. Quick shortcuts can launch apps, files, and websites or execute specified commands; on Mac, Alan integrates Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, and Messages, and also offers an undo function.
