ChessBuddy AI is a Chrome browser extension designed specifically for Lichess.org, featuring an embedded AI chat interface that serves as a personalized smart chess assistant. It supports real-time game analysis, skill training, and instant Q&A, but its use is explicitly prohibited in official rated games to ensure fair play.
ChessBuddy AI is your personal AI assistant, built exclusively for the Lichess platform. By seamlessly integrating into the site, it adds a compact chat window where you can interact with an advanced AI that simulates a professional chess coach. The AI offers three specialized modes: Coach Mode, which enhances skills through targeted exercises and helpful hints; Analyst Mode, which automatically delivers deep analyses of games and moves without requiring additional questions; and Assistant Mode, which precisely answers specific chess-related queries without offering unsolicited commentary. Additionally, it supports both voice input and output, enabling you to receive guidance while keeping your focus on the board. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, the AI adapts to your level to provide tailored support.
